Pancake and Lulu 2024 Advent HQ
Welcome to the Festive Yarn Tasting

My Earl Grey Cupcakes
I modified yesterday's Earl Grey Cake recipe into cupcakes! Oh boy, they are good - next time I will add more earl grey tea, as it is a little subtle in flavor, but nice - and we loved the honey in the buttercream icing! I added some black Wilton food color for the icing and it is already a greenish blue black, so I think it looks great - but maybe I could have gone a little lighter!

I’m making the Euphorbia Wrap by Ambah O’Brien as part of her Festive KAL over on Ravelry! I am holding my Advent sparkle fingering double along with a strand of undyed lace-weight Baby Alpaca Yak Silk. Pattern by Ambah O'Brien. Link: My project for Ambah's Festive KAL on Ravelry.

My first overnight oats and so pretty and delicious. I subbed in peanut butter and regular milk. Also used 2 tsp. butterfly pea powder in the water instead of the flowers called for. Definitely a keeper.

Very good but the color didn't come out the same at all! I used Monin Violette syrup and it was a deep purple, so that was the reason. Also garnished with frozen blueberries and that was so pretty!

My smoothie was delicious! I uses blue spirulina becasue that was what I had on hand. The blue color was gorgeous but more of a periwinkle.

These were so delicious and easy - they do take 3 hours of mostly-waiting time, though. I tried to use a pastry bag to make them pretty but the mini chips got stuck in my widest tip. No matter, I ended up just dalloping teaspoon size piles and in the end, they were eaten up so fast!
