Super smooth, many people prefer the feel and look of Bamboo needles. These needles are also ideal for beginners, due to the non-slippery nature of bamboo compared with metal or plastic. These needles are carbonized to enhance their strength and patina. First sanded super smooth using the finest sanding paper, then they are lightly hand rubbed with a thin layer of wax to improve the surface smoothness.
